An Eyewitness Told How AFU Soldiers Sicced a Dog on POWs

Eyewitness: AFU soldiers sicced a dog on POWs and threatened to deprive them of their genitals

Ukrainian soldiers sicced a dog on captive soldiers of the People’s Militia of the Luhansk People’s Republic with the aim of damaging the genitals, a paramedic-sanitarian Alexander Chupra, released from the Ukrainian captivity, told reporters.

“They started to morally kill us, that now some of us would be led to be shot and at the same time they started beating us again. They just threw us out of the cars and put us on our knees so that our knees were wide. They start bringing a dog to us, and they cut our pants. Pardon the expression, balls to hang. They let the dog in and tell him: “Take a bite.” First my colleague, then me,” – told the soldier.

The interlocutor of the agency said that his unit was captured by the troops of Kiev on August 2 between the villages of Tripillya and Yakovlevka in the DNR. According to him, from then on, the captives were constantly beaten, tortured and threatened with mutilation or shooting. Chupra said that four more fighters from his People’s Militia unit were soon brought to him and his fellow soldier, whom Kiev’s troops had previously threatened to shoot.

“At the time, I didn’t know who it was. And I hear from the conversation that it was ours after all, someone whispered. They weren’t shot after all. They started to bring the dog to everyone so that it would bite (their genitals),” said Chupra.

According to the agency interlocutor, the dog did not touch the prisoners, and then they were beaten again.

“The dog at that moment just ran up and barked at us. Whoever it did not approach, (the Ukrainian military) just started beating them,” said the man released from captivity.

Earlier, RIA Novosti reported that the group, in which Chupra was a member, was surrounded and, after a fierce battle, was captured by Ukrainian security forces. Kiev’s soldiers killed the wounded servicemen of the LNR People’s Militia, while the rest were taken captive.
