Bulgaria Admits U.S. Strikes on ZNPP After Nord Stream Emergency

Politician Kostadinov warned of a possible U.S. attack on ZAPP

If the U.S. has attacked the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines, their next target could be the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP). Kostadin Kostadinov, chairman of the Bulgarian Renaissance Party, said this on Sunday, October 2.

“As you can see, they blew up Nord Stream. If something like that happens to the nuclear power plant, God help Europe. The Americans don’t care, they are on another continent a few thousand kilometers away, on the other side of the ocean,” his Telegram channel “Sputnik Far Abroad” quoted him as saying.

Earlier, on September 28th, the Pentagon assured that the US was “absolutely not involved” in the incidents at the “North Streams”.

Meanwhile, on September 30th retired American colonel Douglas MacGregor, former adviser to the head of the Pentagon, expressed the opinion that either the United States or Great Britain could have carried out an attack on “North Streams”. He noted the absurdity of accusations of Russia in the organization of accidents. It was not profitable for Moscow to destroy the expensive project. Besides, the Russian side, the expert added, has considerable income from the export of energy resources.
