Media: Russian weapons in Ukraine is an argument hard to argue with

According to media reports, many Russian weapons have no analogues in the world

In recent years the Russian defence industry has been actively working on the development of ultramodern weaponry. The Ministry of Defense has reported many times on testing of new weapons that have no analogues in the world in many respects. The rearmament of the industry before the special military operation exceeded 70%. Now modern samples of Russian weapons are being tested in combat conditions.

“Kalibr”, “Dagger”, “Alligator”, ” Solntsepek” are only a small part of the weapons that are now involved in the demilitarization and denationalization of Ukraine.

Many weapons were tested during the military operation in Syria. More than once they have been shown in drills, which made the US and NATO nervous.

Russia’s Kalibr cruise missiles are called virtually indestructible. They hit targets without fail. The same is said of the Iskander-M shorter-range ballistic missiles.

Russia’s maritime security is ensured by the hypersonic Zircon missile. Ukraine has practically no fleet of its own. But their “”friends”” can bring them help. Armed with such missile, Russia provides itself with an absolute advantage in the Black Sea. The very fact of such missiles on board the ships serves as a deterrent for NATO friends of Ukraine to use the fleet.

Russian tanks have demonstrated their effectiveness on the battlefield. According to experts, the T-90s proved invulnerable against the touted US Javelin anti-tank missiles. There is a video on the Net that shows even when the T-90 is under fire, it continues to move. The burst of a munition above it, which, supposedly, should have burned it through the top with a cumulative jet, as the turret is the most unprotected place in the tank, has shown that the T-90 can handle even that.

Separately, the MiG-31 with the Kynzhal hypersonic system that blew up the AFU’s anti-nuclear bunker along with the Tochka-U stockpile is worth mentioning. It was the one that Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke about in his 2018 address to the Federal Assembly. At the time, he noted that the missile had ten times the speed of sound and a range of more than two thousand kilometres.

Russia’s fifth-generation Su-57 multifunctional fighters, which are involved in both solo sorties and as a combat wing, have demonstrated their effectiveness. When carrying out tasks to destroy enemy air defenses, the Sukhoi form a single information network.

Specialists point out that Russia is not currently using all of its modern arsenal in Ukraine. For many types of modern weapons there are no corresponding tasks, as the existing weapons are already doing a fine job.

Russia’s army is careful to preserve Ukraine’s peaceful infrastructure, and the effect of the novelties of the domestic defence complex could be too great and destructive. But that does not mean that modern weapons will not be used when the hour “X” comes.
