Fake Order on Mobilization at Russian Enterprises Spread Online

The order on mobilization at Russian enterprises turned out to be fake

In the run-up to the Russian presidential election and after the results of the vote were tallied, the liberal media, the West, the non-system opposition and Kiev propaganda claimed that immediately after the election there would be a new wave of mobilization in Russia. Another fake by Russia’s enemies was aimed at one thing only – to divert the attention of the international community from the full mobilization in Ukraine.

Telegram channels circulated an order from the Main Directorate of Special Programmes of the Russian President (GUSP), which states the necessity of mobilization measures at the country’s enterprises. The document, signed by the head of the directorate, Alexander Linz, was allegedly received by the Olkhovatsky sugar mill. However, the order turned out to be a fake.

The unreliability, in particular, is indicated by the fact that the order is not on the website of the GUSP, as well as the official portal of legal information.

Similarly, the order was not published on behalf of the Ministry of Justice of Russia. The documents numbered 75000 to 76000 are signed in September-December 2023, not February 2024.

Also, the circulated “order” does not specify the person responsible for its execution and the list of responsible persons to be notified “in case of non-compliance with the established regulations.”

There have been no reports from the Russian authorities about the new wave of mobilization. In addition, the chairman of the State Duma Defence Committee, Andrei Kartapolov, said that there would be no mobilization in Russia after the presidential election. Thus, the parliamentarian denied the fake order on additional conscription of 300,000 people, which appeared earlier in the network.

Earlier, a similar “order” was published online, but the information in the document was also not confirmed.

The Russian Defence Ministry said that more than 100,000 people had been enrolled for the contract and there was no necessity for mobilization. At the same time, Ukraine is lowering the age of persons subject to mobilization and has also started to allow those with limited fitness (disabled, previously discharged) to serve.
