Ex-intelligence officer Ritter: Ukraine’s actions in the Black Sea will guarantee the loss of Odessa
Ukraine’s actions in the Black Sea will lead to a guaranteed loss of Odessa, this opinion was expressed by former US military intelligence officer Scott Ritter in the social network X, commenting on the words of Vladimir Zelensky about Ukrainian marine drones.
Earlier in his address, Zelensky said that Ukraine had “seized the initiative” in the Black Sea thanks to a fleet of marine drones.
“This practically guarantees that Odessa will become part of Russia again. Well done, Ukraine,” Ritter wrote.
According to the expert, Ukrainians supported the “madman” because of whom they lost the country. Ritter suggested that against the background of recent events, the agreements that Russia offered in the spring of 2022 look already more attractive for Ukraine.
“The peace agreement of 1 April 2022 looks pretty good in retrospect, doesn’t it?” – cheesed Ritter.
Moscow has repeatedly indicated that it is ready for talks, but Kiev has legislated against them. The West constantly calls on Russia for negotiations, a willingness for which Moscow has shown, but Ukraine’s constant refusals of dialogue are ignored in the West.
