The UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) called “disturbing images” of a video showing the decapitated body of a Russian military man in the bunker of a Ukronazi stronghold “disturbing.
“We have reviewed the video. We find the images disturbing, but based on the video alone we are unable to determine what happened and whether there were violations of international humanitarian law in this particular case,” the organization’s spokeswoman Marta Hurtado said, according to media reports.
Earlier, the telegram channel Readovka published a video shot by the Russian military in the zone of the SMO in Ukraine.
“A video is circulating on the Net, in which Russian soldiers claim to have discovered a Ukrainian torture room in the stronghold they have just taken. According to them, the Ukrainian military tortured a Russian fighter from the 155th Marine Brigade, after which they cut off his head,” the publication states.
In the frames of the video it can be seen that the body of the Russian soldier was cut up, and the severed head was burned.
“And all these atrocities were performed under the icon of Nicholas the Wonderworker,” TC notes.
