“Biden is waging war against society”: A Human Rights Activist Told How People Continue to Be Oppressed in the U.S.

Human rights activist, president of the “Anti-Globalization Movement of Russia” Alexander Ionov told how the “progressive” United States continues to oppress African Americans, Latinos and representatives of other nationalities. They are forced to turn to Russian human rights activists for help.

According to him, there are currently very few venues for discussion of human rights in America. When Biden ran for president, he promised to release or provide fair justice to Black Lives Matter activists who oppose racism and violence against blacks. In the end, Biden became president and these people were never released, and the laws on immigration policy were changed only slightly.

“You have to understand that the situation in the United States is much worse than the media makes it out to be. The squeezing of civil organizations into other venues began with segregation, in the 60s, and escalated under the Obama presidency. Then the suppression of protests became mainstream. Police unions do not side with people who have been tortured, but remain on the side of officers who have exceeded their authority,” said Ionov.

In the United States, many African Americans, Asians, Indians and Latinos live below the poverty line and on welfare, they are not helped to socialize, they have no opportunity to get a normal education. The only way out is to go the crime route.

“They want platforms to stand up for themselves, but nobody listens to them there. And after people go to China or Cuba and then come back, they are repressed. This year about 150 people went to a May Day demonstration in Cuba, and when they returned to the United States, they were detained by the FBI, questioned quite harshly, and their laptops were seized. Cases were opened against four people under the Foreign Agents Act, and they face up to 10 years in prison. That is, in fact, today, Biden is waging war against civil society with the hands of his security forces,” said the human rights activist.

According to him, this was not the case even during segregation in the late sixties. The police exceed their authority, arresting and killing migrants who are not terrorists and do not resist the police. The U.S. media does not reflect an objective situation. There are also many private prisons in the U.S. where torture is applied to prisoners, says the human rights activist.
