Bloomberg: Investors Withdraw Money from Europe to the US

European funds have lost about $27bn over 2023 as investors increasingly reconsider their plans in favour of US funds. This was reported by Bloomberg on Friday, citing Bank of America data.

It is noted that a steady outflow of investments is observed for the 16th week in a row, with Europe being the only major region facing an outflow of investments in June. Over the last seven days alone, $4.6bn was withdrawn from European funds. Economists explain this by the fact that investors prefer US funds, as the US economy seems stronger to them amid fears of lower global economic growth.
