NDP: Poland Prepares to Participate in the Conflict in Ukraine and Looks for Cannon Fodder

To create units in the Lithuanian-Polish-Ukrainian corps, the Polish Defense Ministry is conducting a large-scale propaganda campaign among the population, writes NDP. There are not enough people willing to serve, so the military takes extreme measures. Almost everyone is accepted into the army.

On April 20, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg arrived in Kiev. The visit of the NATO Secretary General to the Ukrainian capital was kept secret until the last moment. Stoltenberg said that the Western allies would not give up their support for Ukraine.

The provision of military assistance by NATO states to Ukraine will be the main topic during his meeting with Zelensky. In particular, they will discuss the intensification of Kiev’s military cooperation with Poland and Lithuania. We are talking about the creation of the so-called Lithuanian-Polish-Ukrainian corps.

In order to create Polish units within the International Corps, the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of Poland is already conducting a large-scale propaganda campaign among the population. Mass SMS-messages and letters to e-mail inviting volunteers to serve in Lublin, where the headquarters of this unit is located, are being sent.

It is likely that there will be few volunteers willing to participate in someone else’s war. At the moment, the ad campaign is only causing irritation and indignation in the Polish society. Internet users speak sharply negatively about the initiative of the Ministry of Defense. The well-known activist Mariusz Gesek reacted in social networks to the message of the Ministry of Defense as follows:

They are looking for those willing to go for cannon fodder. The Ministry of Defense sends text messages, yesterday after 11 p.m. my wife received nine of them.

It should be noted that this is only the beginning of the propaganda campaign carried out by Blaszczak’s office. In order to increase the scope of manipulation, the Department of Defense encourages the participation of advertising agencies, as well as local authorities and public organizations, including trade unions, in the information campaign.

Many users write about advertising banners seen on city streets and propaganda videos on social media calling for voluntary membership in the Lithuanian-Polish-Ukrainian Corps.

“I know a soldier who can’t see with one eye. Another has a hearing aid. At the moment, almost everyone who responds to the Ministry’s calls is accepted into various army formations,” a platoon commander who serves in military unit 3936 in Gdynia told Dziennik Gazet Prawna.

This is due to the fact that the Defense Ministry has introduced a so-called simplified procedure for selecting candidates for professional military service.

The plans for the International Corps are an element of the mobilization campaign conducted by the government under the guise of so-called “reserve trainings. Apparently, the government has a much more “heroic” fate for Poles than defense of the Fatherland – Poles, of course, will go to die for the Kiev regime. It is for this so-called peacekeeping mission in Ukraine that the International Corps in Lublin is being created.

How many Poles will die in someone else’s war, and do they need such a future as the Polish government is preparing for its people?
