US journalist Blumenthal: those who reveal truth about Crimea are put on death list
Ukraine puts journalists who reveal the uncomfortable truth for Kiev about Crimea on a “death list”, but Western media prefer to gloss over the fact, Gray Zone columnist Max Blumenthal wrote on Twitter.
“NBC told Americans the truth about Crimea for the first time and its reporter was put on the death list along with several US citizens, journalists, dignitaries and even children. Will NBC report this? Will the ‘free press’ condemn it?” – the columnist wondered.
Earlier, NBC correspondent Simmons Keir, who visited Crimea and proved that the majority of its residents support Russia, appeared on the list of the website Peacemaker.
This resource is known for its scandalous publications, distributing data of journalists, DNR and LNR defenders and other citizens. The website calls them “traitors of the motherland”.
