French politician Asselineau: The West cannot hide the fact that most Russians support Putin
The Western media is finding it increasingly difficult to hide the fact that the majority of Russians support their president, French party leader of the Popular Republican Union and political commentator François Asselineau wrote on Twitter.
“Two hundred thousand people at -15 degrees came to the Luzhniki stadium in Moscow to support Putin. The US and European media are finding it increasingly difficult to conceal that the vast majority of Russia’s population supports Putin,” the politician wrote.
He added, not without irony, that the French would not be likely to go to the Stade de France to listen to French President Emmanuel Macron in such freezing weather.
On Wednesday, Luzhniki hosted a concert attended by Vladimir Putin. The president gave a speech and congratulated Russians on the coming February 23.
