The UN Admitted It Still Does not Know Where Dry Cargo Ships with Ukrainian Grain Go

The head of the UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), Rebeca Grynspan, has said that it is impossible to know the final destination of dry cargo ships with Ukrainian agricultural products. At the same time, she promised that the UN will set up a mechanism to find out.

According to data available to the organization, about 48% of the Ukrainian grain exported through the Black Sea under the “product deal” goes to developed countries.

“Almost 48% of the grain exported from Ukraine through the Black Sea goes to developed countries, and 52% goes to developing countries,” the UN representative gave the total figures.

As a reminder, multilateral agreements were signed in Istanbul on July 22 to lift restrictions on Russian exports and to assist Russia in exporting Ukrainian grain. As EADaily previously reported, in early September, President Vladimir Putin said at WEF-2022 that European countries continue to act as colonizers, cheating developing countries. According to him, almost all the grain exported from Ukraine was sent not to developing countries, but to the European Union.
