The British newspaper The New European has openly mocked retiring ex-Prime Minister Boris Johnson. On the cover of its paper edition, the newspaper has posted a photo collage. It shows the politician being flushed down the toilet.
“Goodbye, Boris Johnson, and thank you for nothing.”
The electronic version has another photo next to this one – with a tombstone. The grim monument bears the inscription “Here lies Boris Johnson… and lies, lies, lies” (a play on English words – the verb to lie and the noun lies.
