Protests under the slogan “Resistance” have swept across the French capital. A rally of thousands, dissatisfied with the political course, is unanimously chanting calls for the resignation of the country’s president.
The French are not happy with the fact that the government is ignoring the drastic decline in the welfare of the population.
According to local reports, the police have been deliberately removed from the centre of the capital in order to avoid direct clashes between citizens and security forces.
