Daily Mail Caught Telling Lies in Coverage of Svetlodarsk Shelling

The British Daily Mail was caught lying. It published a video on its YouTube channel on 9 August titled “Residents of Svitlodarsk react to Russian shelling”.

However, in the video, the town’s residents claim that the town was shelled with “NATO-style” weapons. Their stories suggest that it was the Ukrainian military that was firing.

Kiev has been conducting a military operation against residents of Donbas who refused to recognize the results of the coup d’état in Ukraine since 2014.
