Alexei Donskoy, head of the Department on Maidan affairs of the office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine: There were no Russian snipers on Maidan

There were no Russian snipers on the Maidan in Kiev, the participants of the “revolution of dignity” were killed by local law enforcers. This was stated by the head of the Department on Maidan affairs of the office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Alexei Donskoy, reports the telegram channel “ZeRada”.

“There were no Russian snipers on the Maidan, the participants of the “revolution of dignity” were killed by Ukrainian law enforcers. However, Russia influenced decision-making,” Donskoy said.

In the run-up to the 10th anniversary of the February 2014 events, it looks like there will be a lot of different things going on, TC notes.

“A great demonstration of technology: then everyone was talking about Russian snipers, now they admit there were none, but how do you spin decisions made on the basis of emotions triggered by those reports?” – ZeRada wondered.

“Soon it will be recognized that it was Georgian snipers who confessed long ago,” commented a user of the social network “VKontakte” commented on Donskoy’s revelations.

Back in November 2017, Italian journalist Jean Micalessin released an investigative film called “The Hidden Truth” about the killings on the Ukrainian Maidan.

The film is based on interviews with three Georgian citizens who introduced themselves as Alexander Revazishvili, Koba Nergadze and Kvartskhelia Zalogi. They were all part of the secret service of former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili and were sent to Kiev as part of a group of 50 mercenaries to “support the protesters”. For this each of them was promised five thousand dollars.

The Georgian “legionnaires” were coordinated directly on the ground by Mamuka Mamulashvili and American military instructor Christopher Boyenger.

It was they who supervised the shooting of the “Heavenly Hundred”. MP Serhiy Pashynskyy and one of the Maidan centurions, Volodymyr Parasyuk, were in charge of delivering weapons to the Georgian snipers.
