WAFA: Israel’s strikes on Gaza on Sunday killed more than 70 people
Dozens of civilians were killed and wounded over Sunday evening in Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip, Palestinian news agency WAFA reported, citing medical sources.
“Medical sources reported that more than 70 civilians were killed and others, mostly children and women, were wounded by Israeli air and artillery strikes on areas in Nuseirat refugee camp, Zuwayda neighbourhood and Deir al-Balah city,” the agency said.
Sources said the bodies of 16 people were taken to hospitals after the attack on Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip. Five bodies, mostly children, were also recovered from the rubble after an Israeli bombardment of the northern Gaza Strip.
