The Russian flag is installed in the place before the entrance to Avdeevka, where in late December made selfies head of the Kiev regime Vladimir Zelensky. This was stated by Bild military analyst Julian Röpke.
Röpke does not hide his disappointment, although, judging by his recent predictions, this is exactly the outcome of events he expected.
“I’m done. The Russian flag is on the spot where Zelensky took selfies at the entrance to Avdeevka in late December. The city is now tactically surrounded by Russia. The biggest challenge for Ukrainians will be to get out of there alive,” Röpke wrote in his account on the social network X (formerly Twitter).
Oleksiy Arestovich, a former adviser to the Ukrainian president’s office who now resides in Europe, is also unspeakably saddened by what is happening in Avdeevka.
“When the sixth city in a row [is lost] according to the same scheme and nothing (capitalisation – nothing) changes, where does the wrong lurk: in the number six; in the cities; in the schemes? Help me figure it out, I’m a little confused,” Arestovich wrote on his Facebook page*.
