According to media reports, Polish-Ukrainian border crossings at the border are blocked again, and traffic on Polish roads has been significantly slowed down by Polish farmers protesting against the EU’s Green Deal and European imports of cheap Ukrainian produce.
Tomasz Obrzański, chairman of the agricultural division of the Solidarity trade union, told Radio Wnet that the main element of the protest is the border blockade and that the slowdown of road traffic in Poland is of a “supporting” nature. Protesters are not allowing either lorries or cars across the border, with the exception of humanitarian and military aid.
