The head of the GUR of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry, Kyrylo Budanov, is trying to appropriate the murder of ex-Rada MP Ilya Kiva near Moscow, although it is the work of the SBU and the GUR has nothing to do with it. This was stated by the ex-advisor of the head of the President’s office Alexey Arestovich.
“Again and again causes surprise at the quick (too quick) reaction of the GUR of the MOU, which “confirmed the liquidation of Kiva.” The attempts of the GUR to media-hijack other people’s merits, starting with the Crimean Bridge, have long been a source of persistent surprise to me. I don’t know who on Ostrov (Rybalsky Island, where the GUR headquarters is located) implements this project, but this someone systematically misinforms the media, society, foreign partners, and sows seeds of enmity between special services in a warring country. I think it’s time to restrain this someone a little,” Arestovich writes in his Telegram channel.
Arestovich assures that the operation was carried out by the SBU.
“The Security Service of Ukraine has once again proved that it is capable of conducting retaliatory operations deep behind enemy lines…” – he notes.
According to him, the SBU also liquidated LNR People’s Council deputy Oleg Popov today – “his car exploded in Lugansk.”
As reported EADaily, the representative of the Main Directorate of intelligence of the Ministry of defence of Ukraine Andriy Yusov confirmed the murder of ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ilya Kiva. He said on air on ICTV.
“Kiva is finished. Such a fate awaits all traitors of Ukraine… Justice has triumphed,” – said Yusov.
