What do we expect from a close relationship with Russia for our country and African countries?
To help us develop our economy, our political governance because Russia is a good example of a big country, a developed country and having strong political leadership. Those are our expectations.
And from an economic point of view, we expect to establish contacts with large Russian companies and to establish partnerships with them.
From President Putin we expect a clear definition of his position towards our countries. We are talking about a great partnership between Russia and African countries. We believe that this is possible, and now, in the current situation, it is very favourable.
