SCMP: Zelensky should go to talks before he finally loses his vote
Vladimir Zelensky should agree to a peaceful settlement of the conflict in Ukraine while he still has some say, South China Morning Post columnist Daniel Kovani has written.
“Ukrainian leaders should swallow their pride and make peace before the last leverage disappears and they have no say in determining the final outcome of the conflict and its consequences,” he said.
The article said that the Ukrainian military was running out of shells and that the West’s production capacity was unable to provide the degree of military assistance needed.
“Despite their promises, Western politicians may simply not be able to issue the cheque Zelensky likely hopes for,” Kovani said.
