Two Ukrainian “refugees” have beaten up a UN employee in Chisinau, taking her phone.
The Ukrainian perpetrators are 19 and 21 years old. They live in a centre for refugees in Cojuşna, Straseni district. The pair attacked the 21-year-old UN employee while on holiday in Chisinau. Moldovan police say the Ukrainians beat the girl, taking her mobile phone. The attackers were hotly detained on Stefan III the Great Boulevard.
EADaily recalls that UN Secretary-General António Guterres visited Moldova last spring, saying the country, which has received 450,000 refugees from Ukraine since the beginning of the SWO, “deserves the full support of the international community.”
