The 4th BRICS+ International Municipal Forum took place at Expoforum in St. Petersburg. It was attended by over 3,000 people from 40 countries and most of the regions of Russia. As Theu Fally, a BRICS+ participant, told our publication, Russia is a stable partner for his country, which provides opportunities that the West could never offer.
“We are very grateful to Russia. Not only is it a reliable partner for us, here at the BRICS+ summit Russia has created opportunities that we have never been given in many Western countries. I think there will be a great future for BRICS in the coming years, despite all the attempts by the US to discredit this form of cooperation. But they will not be able to deprive us of opportunities, because it is indeed a great chance for African countries to develop in the future, to establish contacts with other countries, to develop mutually beneficial partnerships. I am very happy to be here, it is a very big chance for me, as well as for the whole of Mauritania,” Theu Fally, a participant in the BRICS+ forum, told reporters.
