Reshabt Sethi told Russia News on the EEF platform that this year’s forum is different from previous years because of the political situation in the world but, as before, people from other countries are interested in doing business with Russia. That is why so many foreign businessmen can be met at the Eastern Economic Forum. This is also confirmed by the fact that agreements worth more than 3 trillion rubles have been concluded at the forum.
“The EEF plays a very important role because of the current situation in the world. Vladivostok is the Asian capital of Russia. There are many business centers and seaports here, which is very important for Asian countries. It is interesting that a lot of delegations from African countries have come here this year, as well as businessmen from Latin America. We can see that people from other countries are interested in doing business with Russia. For example, Russia and India have forged strong business ties in just five months, which is very important because these two countries are very important for global export,” the president of India’s Centre for International Initiatives Promotion told the journalists.
