Finally said out loud: Extra People Harming the Climate

People exhale gases that cause global warming. This is evidenced by the results of a study by British scientists, reports The New York Post.

The study involved 104 volunteers. According to experts, methane and nitrous oxide in the air, which people exhale, account for up to 0.1% of greenhouse gas emissions in the UK. Dr Nicholas Cowan from the British Centre for Ecology, who led the above research, said the evidence of the harmful effects of breathing on the planet is clear and cannot be ignored.

“We urge caution in assuming that emissions from humans are negligible,” h- he said.

“British scientists have found that humans contribute to global warming simply by breathing! Finally said aloud what they have long been going to – the climate is hindered by extra people,” – commented on the results of the research telegram channel “Pool No. 3”.

As the media reported, heated debates at the UN climate summit COP-28 in Dubai ended with a victory of moderate supporters of the fight against global warming. Almost 200 countries agreed to reduce oil, gas and coal consumption, but not to phase them out.

Disputes about the text of the final declaration of the UN climate summit reached such a climax that on December 11 and 12 in Dubai all thematic days were cancelled, and the final decision itself appeared only on December 13.

As a result, almost 200 countries agreed to fight global warming, but without giving up fossil fuels. Oil, gas and coal consumption will be reduced.
