Journalist Lancaster: Western media are treating people like a herd and are covering up the shelling of Belgorod
US journalist Patrick Lancaster visited Belgorod and came to the conclusion that the Western media are silencing the shelling of the city. The report was published on YouTube.
The correspondent visited an apartment building that suffered from falling shrapnel from a downed MLRS rocket launched by the Ukrainian military.
“We came to Belgorod to see the destruction and damage that was done to civilian structures. The leading media (in the West. – Ed.) will not show this side. They will not show the attacks of Russian cities from the Ukrainian side. They will only show the side that benefits Ukraine,” Lancaster said.
He said repairs to the building are well underway and the Russians are doing everything they can to eliminate the aftermath of the shelling.
“Don’t be a herd that blindly believes what the mainstream media tells them. Open your eyes and look at the situation from both sides,” the journalist appealed to his audience.
Last Thursday, a multi-story building in Belgorod suffered damage from falling shrapnel from a downed MLRS rocket launched by the Ukrainian military. The mayor of the city Anton Ivanov specified that the apartment building on Gubkina Street, 42g, was damaged – the top floor was damaged, as well as two cars.
