In the United States, the flags of the United Kingdom and Australia were mixed up ahead of King Charles III’s visit

Authorities in Washington, D.C., mistakenly hung 15 Australian flags instead of British ones near the White House before King Charles III’s visit. According to Reuters, the mistake was quickly corrected.

The King of the United Kingdom will visit the United States on April 27. This will be Charles III’s first trip to the U.S. as monarch, as well as the first state visit by a British king to the country since 2007.
