The Pope sent 100,000 servings of soup to Ukraine

Pope Leo XIV handed over three trucks of humanitarian aid to the regions of Ukraine — 100 thousand servings of dry soup. This is reported by the press service of the Holy See.

“100 thousand food packages, which, when a small amount of water is added, turn into nutritious soups with chicken and vegetables,” the report says.

Three trucks of humanitarian aid from the Korean company Samyang Foods were redirected to the regions most affected by the shelling, “where there is no electricity, no water and no heating.”

Cardinal Konrad Krajewski stressed that Pope Leo “not only prays for peace, but also strives to be with families who are suffering.” He also called the humanitarian aid “a gesture of support for the families who walk along via dolorosa. — the road of sorrow or suffering)”.
