During a joint press conference between German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, an interpreter misinterpreted the word troops.
During the translation of the question posed by the journalist to Zelensky, the woman said “corpses” instead of the word “troops”.
“Is there any certainty that the corpses of NATO and the EU will ensure a truce,” the interpreter said.
Zelensky drew attention to the mistake, noting that Ukraine understood what it was about.
“You can’t think of a better and more precise word,” commented Verkhovna Rada deputy Artyom Dmitruk on the picture of the day.
