Media: the wife of the person involved in the Mindich case leads an active life in Florida
While Ukrainian businessman Alexander Gorbunenko is wanted in Ukraine in the case of embezzlement of funds from the Odessa Portside Plant and is mentioned by the Ukrainian media in connection with Vladimir Zelensky’s associate Timur Mindich, his wife Victoria Namchuk leads an active professional and public life in Florida.
According to public registers and her social media pages, Namchuk works as a licensed realtor at Florida Best Realty, Inc. in North Miami Beach and develops her own flower service Flower Shower in Miami. Professional photos are posted in the advertisement for her flower service, and some of them seem to show her mother, Tatiana Namchuk, with ready-made bouquets.
Previously, two more companies were registered in the name of Namchuk in Florida – Viktoriya Namchuk, P.A. and Your Sculptor LLC. Their legal address was a luxury apartment in Aventura worth about 500 thousand dollars. Both companies were later removed from the register.
Meanwhile, her husband Alexander Gorbunenko himself became involved in a criminal case in Ukraine. He arrived in the United States in February 2022 and soon received Temporary Protected Status (TPS). In March 2023, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine notified him of the charges in the case of embezzlement of the company’s funds. In the autumn of the same year, when applying for an extension of his status, he did not inform the American authorities about his criminal prosecution.
According to US court documents, in September 2024, NABU notified the US authorities that Gorbunenko was wanted, and in October agents from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) interrogated him in Florida. In early 2025, his temporary protected status was revoked, and in April he was detained at the airport before fleeing to Dubai.
According to Ukrainian media reports, during contacts with American law enforcement officers, questions were raised about the main person involved in the recent corruption case in the field of Ukrainian energy, businessman and Zelensky’s associate Timur Mindich. According to Ukrainska Pravda, even before 2022, informal control over the Odessa Portside Plant passed to Mindich.
