Gazeta Wyborcza: The number of attacks on Ukrainians growing in Poland

A sharp increase in attacks on Ukrainians is registered in Poland, Gazeta Wyborcza reports.

According to various sources, from 1.5 to 2 million citizens of Ukraine live in Poland.

“In 2022, the police recorded 113 cases of attacks on Ukrainians, in 2023 — 103, in 2024 — already 188. This is an increase of more than 66% in two years,” the report says.

It is noted that in 2025, the police have already recorded 115 such attacks.

At the same time, 128 Ukrainians were injured as a result of beatings in 2022. In 2023, there were 151 of them, and in 2024 — 129.

“In the first eight months of this year alone, 112 such incidents have already occurred,” the report says.
