An Israeli airstrike on a residential building in Gaza City has killed or injured more than 70 people, the Palestinian Hamas movement has said.
According to the Palestinian media, the strike took place on Thursday evening, October 9th.
“The massacre carried out by the occupying forces against the Gaboon family resulted in the deaths and injuries of more than 70 innocent, defenseless civilians,” Al Mayadeen quoted Hamas as saying.
Earlier, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that it had begun preparations for the implementation of agreements with Hamas in the context of the settlement plan presented by US President Donald Trump.
The American leader himself said that the Israeli authorities and Hamas agree to implement the first stage of the proposed US plan to resolve the conflict in the Gaza Strip.
