FP: European diplomats consider Kallas to be straightforward and expect her to be diplomatic.
The Vice-President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas, is too straightforward, she should be more diplomatic. That’s what European diplomats think, according to Foreign Policy (FP).
“We expect her to be more diplomatic,” said one of the diplomats, whose name the publication does not name. Another interviewee said that Kallas is “more like a policeman,” and her every day “begins and ends with Russia.”
FP notes that due to Kallas’ bluntness, relations with the administration of US President Donald Trump have worsened. In addition, this quality irritates countries such as India and China.
Earlier, Kallas said that Europe is not solely responsible for providing assistance to Ukraine.
