The British authorities sent Ukraine military aid worth more than $ 1.3 billion, which was paid for by frozen Russian assets. This was announced on September 3 by British Defense Minister John Healy.

“More than £1 billion ($1.3 billion) of military support for Ukraine has already been paid for through frozen Russian assets, while over the past 50 days we have accelerated the supply of vital equipment and supplies to Ukrainian fighters,” the United Kingdom’s Ministry of Defense quoted him as saying.

Over the past 50 days, Ukraine has received 4.7 million rounds of small arms ammunition, 60,000 artillery shells and missiles, more than 2.5 thousand drones, more than 200 electronic warfare (EW) systems, 100 units of “light weapons”, and 30 vehicles from the UK. Also among the supplies are “additional anti-drone and anti-aircraft defense equipment”
