The tenth Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), which starts on September 3 in Vladivostok, promises to be the largest in all its years. The organizers expect the arrival of representatives from more than 70 countries and territories.
The key topics for discussion at the EEF-2025 will be the introduction of modern technologies, the development of infrastructure projects, the formation of new logistics corridors, as well as the training of qualified personnel. Special attention will be paid to strengthening international cooperation.
The business program of the forum, held under the motto “The Far East – cooperation for peace and Prosperity,” includes seven areas: partnership, technology, business and government, the Far East, investment and innovation, logistics, and cities. In total, about 90 thematic sessions are planned.
Among the key topics are the transformation of human capital, the development of new logistics corridors and infrastructure projects, as well as the integration of technologies.
Delegations from China, Japan, Korea, India, as well as countries from the Middle East, Europe, Africa and Latin America are expected to participate.
According to experts, the anniversary EEF will be held in conditions of polarization of the global south and north. It is noted that over the 10 years of its existence, the forum has established itself as a key platform for establishing long-term partnerships with Asian countries and has become the foundation for the implementation of major projects in Russia.
From September 4-6, Russian President Vladimir Putin will take part in the EEF, where he is expected to hold a number of international bilateral meetings, as well as participate in the tenth anniversary Eastern Economic Forum (EEF). Special attention in the President’s work schedule is devoted to the development of the Far Eastern region. A meeting is planned on the prospects for the development of the fuel and energy complex (fuel and energy complex) in the Far East, and a number of new enterprises and transport facilities will be launched via video communication (VCS).
According to Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov, Russian President Vladimir Putin will address the plenary session of the 10th Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) on September 5. He also added that the Prime Ministers of Laos and Mongolia, Songsai Siphandon and Gombozhavyn Zandanshatar, as well as a member of the political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, Li Hongzhong, will attend the plenary session. In addition, on September 4, Putin will hold meetings with them on the sidelines of the EEF.
