Mercouris: The SCO did not mention Ukraine, as Russia to deal with it on its own

The Ukrainian conflict is not a problem that Russia could not solve on its own, which is why it was not mentioned in the SCO declaration, said British geopolitical analyst Alexander Mercouris on The Duran YouTube channel.

“This whole problem is not mentioned in public statements <…> in Tianjin. <…> We don’t need to talk about Ukraine. We do not need to make any statements about this, because I (Russian President Vladimir Putin. — Editor’s note) everything is under control.” <…> “I am able to handle all this on my own,” the analyst shared his thoughts on the possible thoughts of the head of state.

At the same time, according to Mercouris, at the SCO summit, Putin once again proved that he is an independent and strong politician.
