Survey of British people about the Russian attack led to unexpected results

The Sunday Express: Two thirds of Britons do not want to fight for their country

Two thirds of Britons do not want to fight for their country in the event of an attack by Russia or another state. The unexpected results of the sociological survey are reported by The Sunday Express.

Residents of the island were asked if they were ready to join the Armed Forces in the event of war. 64 percent of the respondents stated their strong reluctance to do so. Another six percent expressed doubt that they would join the army in such a scenario.

It is noteworthy that among people aged 18 to 34, the percentage of those who do not want to defend their country is lower — it is just over half, although sharp denial prevails in all age groups. The publication did not provide data on how many people participated in the survey.

Earlier, American journalist Tucker Carlson found the Europeans’ belief in the possibility of a Russian attack on NATO ridiculous. According to him, there is no evidence that Russia has plans for Germany or the UK.
