Axios: Vance has made progress in Britain to end the Ukrainian conflict
US Vice President Jay Dee Vance has achieved serious success in ending the conflict in Ukraine during negotiations in the UK, Axios claims.
According to the publication, referring to an American official, Vance’s hours-long meetings on Saturday led to “significant progress” in achieving US President Donald Trump’s goal of ending the conflict.
Earlier, British Foreign Secretary David Lammy said he had held talks on Ukraine on Saturday with representatives of Kyiv and Europe, which were attended by the head of Zelensky’s office, Andriy Ermak, former Ukrainian Defense Minister, NSDC Secretary Rustem Umerov, as well as Vance and European national security advisers.
