The Greens and the Left Party are gaining 12% each, as they did last week, while the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD), which is part of the ruling coalition, also remains at the same level of 13%.
Merz’s job satisfaction decreased by one percentage point compared to last week. Only 32% of the respondents rate his work positively. The majority (64%) expressed dissatisfaction with the Chancellor.
The survey was conducted from July 29 to August 4, and 2,503 people took part in it. The statistical margin of error does not exceed 2.5 percentage points.
