Szijjarto: relations between Hungary and Ukraine are very bad now
The current relations between Hungary and Ukraine are now “very bad”, it is not related to military operations, said Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations Peter Szijjarto.
“We currently have very bad bilateral relations with Ukraine, which have nothing to do with the ongoing war,” the Hungarian minister said.
According to Szijjarto, the corresponding “bad relations” developed about ten years ago, when “the Ukrainian government began to violate the rights of national minorities.
“We really hope that one day there will be an administration in Ukraine that will respect minorities and restore their rights,” he added.
