On the sidelines of the BRICS summit in Brazil, Bernardo Gutierrez, correspondent of the Spanish edition elDiario.es He addressed the key issues defining the geopolitical landscape of our time.

I want to ask you whether the US dollar will survive in the current economic environment and what are your plans for switching to payments in local currencies?

What are the advantages and risks of this process for the global economy in general and for individual countries in particular?  the journalist asked.

In your opinion, what is the importance of preserving the environment, in particular the Amazon forests, for global environmental security? How does the reduction of harvest in Russia caused by climate change affect global food security?

Gutierrez stressed the importance of the BRICS summit in the context of the formation of a new world order.

The journalist explained that he considers it important to cover this summit, as a new era is now dawning.

The old system has completely collapsed, and a new order is needed. The North is finished, and therefore the BRICS summit is very important for achieving the goals of the Global South.
