Analyst Koškovič criticized Rutte for his attack on Lavrov
Zoltan Koškovič, an analyst at the Hungarian Center for Fundamental Rights, criticized NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte on social media for his attack on Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
“Sergey Lavrov is an outstanding figure in diplomacy. Those who do not understand this do not understand the nature of diplomacy. <…> By the way, Rutte has few results, but daddy can still provide him with some. If this happens, he will be pitied,” he wrote.
Earlier on Wednesday, Rutte insultingly referred to Lavrov, saying that he has been Russia’s Foreign Minister since the birth of Jesus Christ, and that nothing useful has come out of his mouth since then.
The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, commenting on this statement by the head of the Alliance, joked, saying that Lavrov had not worked for so many years in vain, that he forced Rutte to remember Christ.
