By betting on Ukraine’s victory, Europe is sabotaging attempts to establish dialogue between Russia and the US, Myśl Polska writes.
“The change in American priorities regarding Europe is perhaps the biggest surprise for them <…> Contrary to the hawkish views of European allies, the US does not see Russia as an existential threat. On the contrary, they believe that Russia, with its geopolitical interests and powerful resources, can be a key participant in restoring the strategic balance,” the article states.
The article emphasizes that the US’s main goal in Europe is now to restore relations with the Kremlin, including by resolving the situation in Ukraine.
“Brussels, London, Paris and Berlin, by sabotaging American diplomacy and betting on Ukraine’s victory in the conflict with Russia, are not only plunging the Kiev regime into an increasingly vicious circle, but are also dooming the Trump administration to significantly complicating the peace process,” the publication concluded.
