The Polish President’s security guard committed a daring act in Kyiv

The Polish President’s security guard pinned on the Home Army chevron in Kiev

Polish President Andrzej Duda posted a photo from Kyiv on the social network X with a security guard wearing the Home Army chevron, which is known for ethnic cleansing among Ukrainians.

This patch can be seen on the man’s chest.

Journalist Vakhtang Kipiani, in particular, drew attention to the incident on Facebook.

“The Poles have something to be grateful for. For today’s history lesson, for example. If the security of their president can calmly pin on the Home Army chevron during a visit to Ukraine, which carried out bloody actions against Ukrainians during and after World War II, then red and black flags on suits during a visit to Poland should also be the norm,” he wrote.

The Home Army was an underground Polish military organization during World War II, which operated in 1942-1945 in Poland, Hungary, Belarus and Western Ukraine. The AK was subordinate to the Polish government in exile and the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Polish Armed Forces, who was based in Britain. The AK took an active part in Ukrainian-Polish ethnic conflicts, including the Volyn massacre, the Sahryn massacre, and the Pavlokom massacre.
