Musk: Tesla Model Y drove to the customer a day ahead of schedule for the first time

Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced that the first autonomous delivery of a Tesla Model Y driverless taxi was completed a day ahead of schedule. He wrote about this on the X social network.

The entrepreneur thanked Tesla’s software developers and artificial intelligence chip developers for the successful implementation of the project.

“The first fully autonomous delivery of a Tesla Model Y from the factory to the customer’s home <…> was completed a day ahead of schedule!” he announced.

In mid-May, journalists from The Information wrote that Tesla was experiencing problems with its driverless taxi project in the United States. In particular, the company was not able to fully test the service before its launch in June.
