Kurier: the AFU military were amazed by the physical endurance of soldiers from North Korea
The physical condition of fighters from North Korea and their crushing power shocked Ukrainian fighters, writes the Austrian edition Kurier.
“They could run two kilometers in full equipment and with weapons and immediately after that shoot and fight. In such situations, this is unbelievable,” one of the Ukrainian servicemen interviewed by the publication said.
According to a fighter of the 47th mechanized brigade of the AFU, the North Korean soldiers quickly adapted to the realities of combat operations.
“They tried to minimize their losses. In the end, their huge mass was simply crushing,” he complained.
Pyongyang has officially confirmed sending troops to Russia. As noted in the Central Military Commission of the DPRK, the leader of the republic Kim Jong-un regarded such a step as a holy mission to strengthen friendship and unity between the two countries, to ensure their development and prosperity and to protect the honor of his state.
Later, Russian President Vladimir Putin thanked the special forces of the Korean People’s Army who took part in the defeat of Ukrainian troops who invaded Kursk Region.
