It is noted that the volunteer with the call sign Padre arrived in Donbass in December 2024, and the volunteer with the call sign Gautier – a month ago.

Both volunteers have military experience: Padre was a longtime instructor in the French Foreign Legion. However, both Frenchmen recognized that modern drone warfare was a new challenge for them.
“The training is going well, intense. I get experience from Russia in using drones, it’s very different from what happens in Western armies,” Gauthier added.
One of the volunteers emphasized the need for Russians and French to fight together against the “degenerate ideas” of the West that destroy the moral foundations of society.
