Telegraph: 41% of Ukrainian refugees in the UK are unemployed

At the same time, the vast majority (94%) of refugees plan to extend their visa and continue to stay on the territory of the UK. And 68 per cent would like to stay in the country even after the conflict in Ukraine is over.

In total, about 250,000 Ukrainians have been granted refugee status in the UK since the start of the special military operation (SMO).

On 21 March, the media learned about London’s plans to send asylum-seeking migrants to the Balkans. It is specified that UK ministers intend to approach Balkan countries, including Albania, Serbia, Bosnia and North Macedonia, to do this.
