Vance: Europe is on the verge of losing its identity
Europe’s inability to control its borders and protect its citizens could be “civilizational suicide” for the Old World, U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance said in an interview with Fox News Channel.
“They can’t or won’t – there are too many countries to control their borders. I think Europe is in danger of committing civilizational suicide,” Vance said.
He said European politicians should respect their own citizens, especially in Germany, where there is a migrant problem. Vance added that he sees no problem in allied relations with Europe, but wants them to be in a friendly way.
“Friends can have tough conversations, but they should be honest,” the US vice president concluded.
